Introduction — What’s on offer

CPPA-G is the national agency responsible for power purchase settlements, market operations, and billing on behalf of distribution companies. If you’re a mid-to-senior career engineer with hands-on experience in the power sector, this announcement is for you. The organization seeks professionals with Bachelor’s degrees (16 years) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering from HEC-recognized universities, and post-qualification experience in generation, transmission, distribution, market operations, or related power systems.

Manager Technical — Islamabad

Lead technical evaluations tied to power purchase agreements (PPAs)ancillary servicescapacity/energy settlements, and loss allocations.

Oversee grid/market data analysis, model performance, and provide technical assurance for billing & settlement.

Interface with generation companies (GENCOs/IPPs)NTDC, and DISCOs to ensure timely and accurate data flows.

Support regulatory submissions and provide inputs on NEPRA determinations, grid codes, and market rules.

Mentor the technical team, manage documentation, and drive process improvements for audit-ready records.

Success signals: on-time settlements, reduced disputes, robust data integrity, and clear technical documentation.

Deputy Manager Technical — Islamabad

Execute day-to-day technical analyses, data validation, and monthly settlement activities under the guidance of the Manager.

Prepare dashboardsvariance reports, and impact assessments for generation availability, outages, and dispatch instructions.

Contribute to testing/validation of market and billing software tools and suggest enhancements.

Coordinate with internal units (market operations, finance, legal, IT) and external stakeholders for evidence-based reconciliations.
