of the Medical Superintendent, Syed Muhammad Hussain Samli Hospital & Nawaz
Sharif Cardiology Center, Murree (erstwhile Syed Muhammad Hussain Govt. T.B.
Sanatorium Samli) has announced multiple contract-based vacancies under the Punjab
Health Department service rules. Hiring is through an open,
merit-based process with domicile of
Punjab required. Posts include: Computer
Operator / Jr. Computer Operator, Junior Clerk, Lady Health
Visitor (LHV), Junior
Technician—Anesthesia, Junior
Technician—Pathology, Junior
Technician—Pharmacy (Dispenser), Junior
Technician—Radiography & Imaging, Junior
Technician—Surgical, Telephone
Operator, and Driver/Ambulance
Driver. Total advertised seats: 22. Recruitment will be conducted via the National
Testing Service (NTS). Candidates must apply
online at NTS, send required documents to NTS by courier, and
appear for the NTS
test (qualifying). As per the advertisement, the last

(by 12:00 pm).
Eligibility,
Reservations & Service Rules ✅
Domicile: Punjab domicile
required for all posts.
Appointment nature: Contract under Contract Appointment Policy 2004 (amended) — initial 3 years, extendable on
performance.
Age calculation: On the closing date of
application. Age
relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt. of Punjab S&GAD Recruitment Policy, 2022.
Quotas: To be observed per Recruitment Policy
2022 (e.g., women, minorities, special persons, employees’ children where
applicable).
Equivalent qualifications: O/A-Level must
attach equivalence certificate.
Foreign qualifications require HEC/PMF
equivalence.
Persons with disabilities: Attach Social
Welfare registration & Disability
Certificate.
Government employees: Apply through
proper channel with NOC; originals will be checked at
interview.
Degree recognition: Only from HEC/PMF/recognized councils; unrecognized institutes
are not acceptable.
Documents verification: Originals must
be presented at interview; fake/fabricated documents will cause disqualification and legal action.
Right to amend: The department may cancel, increase, or decrease posts at any
stage without assigning a reason.
No TA/DA for test/interview.
NTS Qualifying requirement: 50% marks in
NTS is typically treated as qualifying; the department may revise the
shortlisting threshold per policy/need.
Licensing: Clinical/allied posts require valid
registration (e.g., PNC, PMF, or relevant council).
Result-awaiting candidates are not eligible.

What
to Prepare for Each Role
Computer Operator / Jr. Computer Operator
Strong MS Office and data entry discipline; basic IT support;
filing/record management; hospital MIS familiarity is a plus.
Demonstrate accuracy
(typing 35–40 wpm), printer/scanner handling, and courteous
front-office behavior.
Junior Clerk
File movement, note-sheet drafting, registry, dispatch,
logbooks, and e-office etiquette;
keep 30 wpm typing ready for test.
Expect questions on record
retention, official
correspondence formats, and basic Excel.
LHV
Maternal & child health, antenatal/postnatal care, immunization
coordination, community counseling, and IPC.
Keep PNC card and LHV diploma copies ready.
Junior Technicians
(Anesthesia/Pathology/Pharmacy/Radiography/Surgical)
Core competencies aligned to the respective allied health technology; adherence to PMF curriculum; sterilization
& IPC; patient identification and safety checklists.
Telephone Operator
Console operation, call routing, etiquettes, maintaining call logs, and emergency escalation protocols.
Driver/Ambulance Driver
Safe patient
transport, vehicle checks, logbooks, basic first aid awareness, and LTV compliance with at least 5 years licensed driving.
