Pakistan Single Window (PSW), a
public sector company incorporated under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017,
is inviting applications for multiple technology, data, quality assurance, and
business analysis roles. Open positions include: Senior
Software Architect, Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer – II
(Frontend), Senior Software Engineer – III (Frontend), Lead Software Engineer
(Backend), Software Engineer – II (Backend), Software Engineer – III (Backend),
Manager Quality Assurance, Deputy Manager People Services, AI Data Engineer
(Remote), SVP Technology Innovation & Special Projects, Assistant Manager
ERM – I, Deputy Manager Data Quality – II, and Staff Business Analyst.
These vacancies are based primarily in Karachi (KHI),
Sindh and Islamabad (ISB),
Capital Territory, with one fully remote role. PSW is seeking energetic, motivated, and
skilled professionals to support its national mandate: facilitating imports,
exports, and transit trade by digitizing cross-border trade processes for
Pakistan Customs, the Federal Board of Revenue, and other regulatory
authorities. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced software
architects, backend/frontend engineers, data professionals, ERM specialists, QA
managers, and business analysts to play a meaningful role in public sector
digital modernization, national trade facilitation, and large-scale enterprise
systems.
Software Architecture & Engineering
Building and maintaining scalable backend services for
trade platforms.
Designing and optimizing frontend interfaces that end
users actually rely on daily (customs officers, brokers, logistics firms,
etc.).
Enforcing clean code practices, modular design,
containerized deployments, and secure integration with third-party systems.
Working with engineering leads and architects to ensure
system stability, fault tolerance, and performance under production load.
These are not academic builds — these
systems run in production for high-volume, time-sensitive transactions. That
calls for engineers who write code that survives audits, not just demos.
b) Data
Engineering & Data Quality
Managing high-volume trade data streams that feed
dashboards, regulatory reports, and compliance tools.
Ensuring traceability, accuracy, and standardization of
data.
Supporting analytics to help stakeholders make decisions
quickly and confidently.
The AI Data Engineer (Remote) role is especially appealing for candidates who
prefer remote work but still want to contribute at a national scale. A strong
background in data pipelines, data modeling, and applied analytics is expected.
c) Quality
Assurance & Risk
Developing, executing, and enforcing QA standards so that
platform releases are safe, stable, and regression-free.
Working in regulated environments where uptime, data
integrity, and compliance are non-negotiable.
Participating in enterprise risk management (ERM), audit
readiness, and internal controls.
This is where roles like Manager
Quality Assurance, Assistant
Manager ERM – I, and Deputy
Manager Data Quality – II come in. These positions
suit professionals who understand that “done” is not enough — work must be
compliant, documented, and defensible.
d) Business
Strategy & People
Supporting people operations, culture, policy, and employee
services (Deputy Manager People Services).
Acting as the bridge between leadership vision and
delivery teams (SVP Technology Innovation &

Translating business requirements into technical
requirements (Staff Business Analyst)
so that engineering teams build the right features with the right priorities.
