Frontier Works Organization (FWO) — a well-known national engineering organization — is inviting applications from Pakistani nationals for multiple professional positions in construction management, planning, finance, surveying, quality control, field supervision, drafting, data management, and on-site operations.

These opportunities are especially relevant to candidates with strong civil engineering backgrounds, infrastructure execution experience, and prior exposure to large-scale public works. FWO is also open to candidates who are Ex-Army Officers or Ex-Army technical staff from Corps of Engineers, wherever mentioned.

Project Manager / Deputy Project Manager

These are senior leadership positions. You’re responsible for:

Delivering infrastructure projects on time, within scope, and within budget

Managing multidisciplinary construction teams, contractors, and sub-contractors

Handling client/authority coordination

Solving site-level escalations and unforeseen issues

Maintaining quality and safety standards

Project reporting to headquarters

Documentation and chain-of-command reporting

If you’re from the civilian side with 15–20 years of construction or infrastructure delivery experience (highways, bridges, structures, industrial complexes, utilities), you’re also in range.

Planning Engineer

This role is all about visibility, control, and forecasting. You’ll prepare timelines, resource plans, progress curves, work breakdown structures, and performance reports. Practical experience with project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) is typically expected in such roles.

Your job is to spot delays before they become claims.

Assistant Finance Manager

You will be involved in:

Project cash flow management

Cost tracking and forecasting

Supporting audits and compliance

Vendor / subcontractor payments and billing verification

Producing MIS reports for management

FWO handles large, multi-site works; this is not simple bookkeeping. Background in project finance, EPC costing, or construction accounts is a plus.

QS / CQS (Quantity Surveying)

These are cost control pillars of any civil job:

Preparing BOQs and interim payment certificates

Site measurements

Estimation for variations and claims

Coordination with client billing teams

If you’ve worked in roads, structures, foundations, utilities, or large infrastructure corridors, you are exactly the profile they want.

Lab Technician / Senior Lab Technician

These roles maintain quality integrity:

Concrete tests, soil compaction, asphalt testing, aggregate gradation, cube strength, slump tests, core cutting, etc.

Maintaining lab records and compliance with specs

Ensuring material being used on site meets design strength

If your previous job was on an NHA road project, a dam/embankment project, or mega housing development with strict QC — this is your lane.

Surveyor Gde-I / II & Surveyor Helper

Survey is critical in FWO projects because alignment, levels, and accuracy = money.

You’ll manage equipment like total station, level, GPS units.

You’ll set out coordinates, alignments, profiles for earthwork, structures, and utilities.

Helpers support main surveyors with instruments, pegs, benchmarks, and site markings.

People with highway, canal, bridge, urban infrastructure layout experience fit well.

Site Engineer / Site Supervisor

These are execution posts:

Supervising crews

Checking drawings vs. actual on-site work

Coordinating materials and plant

Reporting daily progress

Enforcing safety

This is your track if you’re early in your civil engineering career and want rapid learning on real projects.

e-PMS Operator / AutoCAD Operator / Data Entry Operator

These are tech + documentation roles:

e-PMS Operator: feeds project status, production data, and milestones into digital project management systems (electronic PMS).

AutoCAD Operator: prepares working drawings, as-builts, shop drawings, and coordinates revisions from planning/design to site execution teams.

Data Entry Operator: maintains structured reporting, logs, correspondence, quantity records, and must be accurate and disciplined.

In FWO environments, documentation matters just as much as physical work. Mismanaged records = claims, penalties, and disputes.
