The Office
of the Dean, Khyber Girls Medical College (KGMC)/Hayatabad Medical Complex
(HMC), Peshawar invites applications from qualified
clinicians and medical education leaders for faculty
and leadership appointments under the Medical
Teaching Institution (MTI) Act, 2015. Positions announced include: Associate
Professor (Onco-Gynae); Assistant
Professor in Vascular
Surgery, Vitreoretinal, Orbit & Oculoplastic Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia,
Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine (A&E), ICU/Pulmonology; and Chairman for I) Medicine
& Allied and II) Surgical
& Allied. All posts are MTI
contract positions, based at Hayatabad,
Peshawar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), with selection strictly on merit and in
accordance with PM&DC/CPSP and MTI rules. Applications (with fee receipt) must

Associate
Professor — Onco-Gynae
Lead the gynecologic
oncology service: tumor boards, surgical pathways, peri-op
protocols, and adjuvant planning in coordination with oncology and radiology.
Mentor Assistant Professors, residents, and fellows in operative techniques and complications management.
Drive research
output aligned with disease burden (CA ovary, cervix,
endometrium), maintain registries, and publish in indexed journals.
Assistant Professors —
Surgical/Eye/Anesthesia/Neuro/EM
Establish evidence-based
clinical pathways in your subspecialty (e.g., limb
revascularization in vascular, VR surgery lists, orbit & oculoplastics clinics, neuro-trauma protocols, cardiac anesthesia ERAS programs, ED resuscitation bundles).
Teach with bedside
clarity, run skills labs, and complete supervisory logbooks.
Contribute to on-call
rosters, ensure patient
safety standards (WHO checklist, DVT prophylaxis,
antimicrobial stewardship).
Assistant Professor — ICU/Pulmonology
Strengthen critical care or respiratory services: ventilator bundles,
sedation/analgesia protocols, bronchoscopy services, NIV and ARDS management.
Partner with anesthesia/medicine for sepsis bundles, weaning programs, and post-ICU clinics where feasible.
Lead CPD/ACLS sessions for junior staff and coordinate audit cycles.
Chairmen — Medicine & Allied / Surgical
& Allied
Provide strategic
leadership across departments, optimize OR utilization, ER throughput, and length of stay.
Steward academic
standards, mentoring junior faculty to meet PM&DC publication and teaching
requirements.
Ensure compliance with MTI governance,
budgeting, and quality indicators.
