The Specialized
Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab, is seeking qualified candidates for 19
ad-hoc posts of Medical Officer, Women Medical Officer,
and Demonstrator at Sargodha
Medical College, Sargodha for the financial year 2024–25.
Appointments are on an ad-hoc basis for up to one year (or until a regular
incumbent is posted), under the keyphrase “Medical
Officer Demonstrator Sargodha recruitment 2025”. Applicants must hold an MBBS
recognized by PMC, be registered with the Pakistan
Medical Commission, and have completed a one-year house job.
Candidates domiciled in any district of Punjab, aged 22–50, are invited to apply. Preference will be given to those
with an M.Phil in a relevant field.
Core Duties
Clinical
Rounds & Outpatient Care: Conduct
daily ward rounds, admit and assess patients, and manage follow-up care under
consultant supervision.
Demonstrations
& Tutorials: For Demonstrator posts, assist in
laboratory dissections, practical classes, and small-group teaching sessions in
your specialty.
Record
Keeping: Maintain accurate patient files, case presentation
records, and departmental logs in line with PMC and institutional policies.
Emergency
Support: Provide support in emergency departments and
on-call duties, coordinating with nursing and paramedical teams.
Research
& Audit: Participate in departmental audit
meetings, assist in data collection for clinical research projects, and
co-author case reports.
Professional Development
M.Phil
& Fellowship Tracks: Preference is given to candidates
with M.Phil degrees; ongoing support is available for higher diploma and
fellowship training in recognized specialties.
Continuing
Medical Education (CME): Access to CME workshops, grand
rounds, and e-learning modules through the Punjab Health Department portal.
Mentorship
Programs: Junior officers are paired with senior faculty for
career guidance, research supervision, and teaching skill enhancement.
Performance
Reviews: Structured feedback and annual appraisals guide
potential contract extensions or transition to regular appointments.
Eligibility
Criteria & Documentation ✅
Domicile: Candidate
must hold a valid Punjab domicile certificate.
Educational
Certificates:
MBBS degree
and transcript from a PMC-recognized medical college.
Matric and
F.Sc certificates and transcripts.
Registration: Valid
registration card from the Pakistan Medical Commission.
Experience
Certificate: Proof of one-year house job from
affiliated teaching hospital.
Additional
Credentials: Attested copy of M.Phil degree (if
any).
Identification: Copy
of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
Photographs: Two
recent passport-size photographs.
Government
Employees: Must apply through proper channel and
submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) at interview.
No
Third-Division: Candidates with a third division in
any academic record will not be eligible.
