The Ministry
of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC), Islamabad is inviting applications for the positions of Four
Non Ex-Officio Members for the Islamabad
Wildlife Management Board (IWMB). The IWMB is an autonomous
body operating under the administrative
control of the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination. The recruitment process aligns with Section
3(3) of the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024. These are government jobs based in Islamabad,
Pakistan, offering a tenure of three
years. The selected candidates must possess expertise
and experience in biodiversity, wildlife management, or other relevant fields.
About the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental
Coordination (MoCC&EC)
The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination is
responsible for implementing policies related to climate
action, biodiversity conservation, and environmental governance in Pakistan. The ministry oversees various
initiatives, including wildlife preservation, pollution control, and
sustainable development. The Islamabad
Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) operates under this
ministry, ensuring the conservation of Islamabad’s
wildlife and protected areas.
🛠Key Responsibilities
As a Non Ex-Officio Member of IWMB, the selected
individuals will:
Implement and oversee the objectives of the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024.
Ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
Support biodiversity conservation and wildlife
management initiatives.
Advise and assist in the formulation of policies
related to wildlife protection.
