The Punjab
Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites
applications for various positions under the Specialized
Healthcare & Medical Education Department. These positions are regular government
jobs, offering individuals the chance to advance their careers in medical and
dental fields while contributing to public healthcare in Punjab. The available
positions include Registrar (Paediatric Cardiovascular
Surgery), Assistant Professor of Urology, Demonstrator, Dental Surgeon,
Registrar (Paediatric Cardiac Surgery), Associate Professor (Paediatric
Gastroenterology), and Assistant Professor of Oral Pathology.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold an MBBS or BDS degree,
recognized by PMDC/PMC. Post-graduate specialization (FCPS, MS, FRCS, etc.) is
required for certain positions.
Experience: Candidates must have relevant
professional experience as per the requirements of each position.

Key Responsibilities
Registrars (Paediatric Cardiovascular
Surgery/Paediatric Cardiac Surgery):
Assist in performing advanced surgical procedures in the
specialization.
Provide training to medical staff and students.
Associate and Assistant Professors:
Teach and mentor students in their respective medical or
dental specializations.
Conduct research and contribute to advancing medical
knowledge.
Dental Surgeon:
Deliver quality dental care services in public hospitals.
Promote oral hygiene and dental health awareness.
Demonstrator:
Assist professors in teaching medical subjects.
Conduct practical classes and prepare teaching material.
