The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA),
operating under the Prime Minister’s Office, is seeking a skilled professional
for the role of Deputy
Manager 3 (GIS/AI) on a contractual basis. This government
job in Islamabad is
part of NDMA’s mission to enhance disaster preparedness and response through
cutting-edge geospatial and artificial intelligence technologies. The position
offers a lump-sum monthly package
equivalent to Project Pay Scale 8, with an initial contract
period of 24 months (extendable
based on requirements).

Position
Details & Responsibilities
Deputy Manager 3 (GIS/AI)
Role: Lead the integration of GIS and AI tools
to analyze disaster risks, model scenarios, and improve real-time response
strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to map vulnerable regions and develop
predictive systems for floods, earthquakes, and other emergencies.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Geospatial Sciences, Computer Science, or
a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in GIS software (e.g.,
ArcGIS, QGIS) and AI/ML frameworks.
Proficiency in data analytics, remote sensing, and
programming (Python/R).
Key Skills: Disaster risk modeling, spatial data
analysis, machine learning, and cross-functional teamwork.
