Chief Legal Officer
Location: Faisalabad
Type: Contractual (3 years, extendable
based on performance)
Maximum
Age Limit: 57 years
Responsibilities:
Act as the legal advisor to the Chief Executive Officer
and Board of Directors.
Oversee all legal and corporate regulatory matters
related to FESCO.
Ensure compliance with NEPRA, PPRA, and other applicable
laws and regulations.
Represent FESCO in legal proceedings, including courts
and regulatory forums.
Supervise the legal department and manage external
counsel engagements.
Maintain a litigation register, manage appointments, and
review legal agreements.
Provide legal advice on electricity sector regulations
and corporate laws.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from an HEC-recognized
university (Master’s in Law preferred).
15+ years of post-qualification experience, including
legal practice before high courts.
Comprehensive knowledge of laws related to the
electricity sector, corporate governance, and contract negotiations.
Valid license to practice law in Pakistan.
Remuneration: Competitive salary package on a
lump-sum basis.
2. Company Secretary
Location: Faisalabad
Type: Contractual (3 years, extendable
based on performance)
Maximum
Age Limit: 57 years
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of communication between the
Board of Directors, management, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks,
particularly under the Companies Act, 2017.
Prepare agendas, minutes, and resolutions for Board and
Committee meetings.
Monitor updates in corporate laws and implement necessary
amendments.
Provide legal and administrative support for
Board-related activities and ensure alignment with the Public Sector Companies
(Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013.
Supervise the company’s compliance with State-Owned
Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
Requirements:
Membership in a recognized body of professional
accountants or corporate secretaries.
Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law
from an HEC-recognized university.
10+ years of professional experience as a Company
Secretary, with 5+ years in a government or private-sector organization.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Remuneration: Competitive salary package on a
lump-sum basis.
