Role-Specific Responsibilities
GIS Assistant:
Assist in managing geospatial data, including updating
and maintaining digital maps.
Work with GIS software to support the creation of maps,
charts, and forest inventory data.
Collaborate with the GIS Manager and team to process,
interpret, and present spatial information.
Surveyor:
Conduct field surveys to determine forest boundaries,
plantation areas, and other land features.
Operate surveying instruments to gather precise data.
Coordinate with the GIS team to integrate survey findings
into the geospatial database.
Driver:
Safely transport staff, tools, and materials between
various field locations and the GIS Lab.
Maintain and ensure the vehicle’s optimal functioning.
Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and departmental
transport guidelines.
Lab Attendant:
Keep the laboratory environment organized, clean, and
well-stocked.
Manage equipment, samples, and basic instruments needed
for day-to-day GIS operations.
Assist technical staff with preparation and setup tasks
as required.
Naib Qasid:
Support administrative tasks by moving files, documents,
and materials.
Perform basic clerical duties and help maintain a tidy
office environment.
Provide assistance to departmental staff as needed.
