The Armed Forces Institute
of Urology (AFIU), Rawalpindi, invites applications from qualified civilian
candidates for the FCPS-II
residency program in the fields of Urology and Nephrology. This prestigious opportunity allows medical professionals
to gain specialized training and advance their careers in a recognized
healthcare institution.
Training Details
Program Duration: The training will commence in the first year of FCPS-II.
Disciplines: Urology and Nephrology.
Honorarium: Trainees will receive an honorarium as
per their training year.
Selection Criteria
Eligibility:
Must have completed FCPS Part-I in
General Surgery/Medicine.
Completed 2 years of
General Surgery/Medicine training.
Shortlisting:
Candidates will be shortlisted and called for an
interview by a panel.
No TA/DA:
No travel allowance will be provided for attending
interviews.
Approval:
Final selection and commencement of training are subject
to approval from the relevant authority.
Salary Policy:
Candidates already receiving government salaries will
follow the same selection procedure but will not be eligible for the
honorarium.
Application Process
Step 1: Application Submission
Submit the application by-hand or by post to: Admin
Officer, Armed Forces Institute of Urology, Rawalpindi Cantonment.
Step 2: Required Documents Ensure all documents are submitted in
the specified order:
Typed application addressed to Commandant, AFIU Rawalpindi.
Copy of CNIC.
Matric/FSc detailed mark sheet/certificate.
MBBS degree and DMC
(Prof-wise).
Valid PMDC/PMC
registration certificate.
House job certificate.
FCPS Part-I passing certificate.
Police verification.
Certificate of experience in General Surgery/Medicine Training.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer (if
applicable).
Five (5) recent passport-sized photographs.
Four (4) photocopy sets of all documents.
Any other supporting documents (if applicable).
Step 3: Original Documents
Bring original
documents at the time of the interview for verification.
